Choose one home.

Keep your Main Library on your Mac or any writable external drive. Sauce remembers the destination and moves it safely when you choose a new one.

Drop anything in.

Give Sauce a few sounds, an entire sample collection or one long studio jam. WAV, MP3, M4A, AIF and AIFF are found recursively. Your originals stay untouched.

It listens, sorts & cleans.

Waveforms, names and musical context guide each sound into the right category. Every accepted sample becomes normalized stereo 44.1 kHz / 16-bit PCM WAV, while fingerprints keep duplicates out.

It learns your taste.

Move a misplaced WAV to the right category inside SAMPLES. On the next launch Sauce recognizes it, repairs the numbering and learns locally from your correction.

It makes everything playable.

Long Jams meet the drums in your library. Tonal sounds become MPC presets. Everything is ready to play—and perfect for jamming.

It creates surprising kits for your MPC and MPC Sample.

How to install

The current English manual is included in the download. Sauce is being prepared for the Apple App Store; this independent version is free for only a little while longer.

    Download & unzip

    Download Sauce.zip, open it and drag Sauce.app into your Applications folder.

  2. 02

    Open with a right-click

    In Applications, right-click—or Control-click—Sauce.app and choose Open. Confirm Open once more.

  3. 03

    If macOS still blocks it

    Open System Settings → Privacy & Security. Scroll to Security, click Open Anyway, authenticate if requested and confirm.

  4. 04

    Start cooking

    You only need to approve Sauce the first time. After that, launch it normally and drop in your sounds.

Sauce requires macOS 13 or later and is currently optimized for Apple Silicon Macs.
